We focus on:
Participants build confidence, form meaningful connections, and become more comfortable in social settings. These programs fill a critical gap for families who often feel there are limited options.

The Kinship Center provides welcoming, community-based programs where autistic and neurodivergent youth, teens, and young adults can build friendships, practice social interaction, and feel a genuine sense of belonging.
Rather than relying on scripted social skills lessons, participants connect through shared interests, group activities, creative experiences, games, clubs, and real peer interaction..

Our clubs give participants consistent opportunities to connect with peers through activities they already enjoy. Current and evolving club offerings may include Dungeons & Dragons, art, yoga and movement, Pokémon, video games, board games, movies, seasonal activities, and other interest-based groups.
Clubs help participants build communication skills, confidence, flexibility, collaboration, and friendships in a relaxed and supportive environment.

The Kinship Center supports social growth through natural interaction, shared experiences, and real-world participation.
Participants learn by engaging — not by being instructed. Through group activities and peer connection, they practice communication, cooperation, problem-solving, emotional awareness, and confidence in ways that feel authentic and meaningful.

For young adults ages 18–28, The Kinship Center provides opportunities to build friendships, increase independence in social settings, and develop confidence in community environments.
These programs support the transition into adulthood by helping young adults strengthen peer relationships, participate in shared activities, and feel more connected to a supportive community.

Creative Expression Studio gives participants opportunities to explore drawing, painting, mixed media, collaborative projects, and other creative activities in a low-pressure, supportive environment.
The focus is not on artistic perfection. It is on self-expression, confidence, connection, and social-emotional growth through creativity.

The Kinship Center helps participants build comfort and confidence through recreational activities, community outings, seasonal events, and shared experiences.
These opportunities support real-world social participation while helping participants practice flexibility, communication, independence, and connection outside of traditional program settings.

The Kinship Center also supports families by creating opportunities for parents and caregivers to connect, share resources, and feel less alone.
As the Center continues to grow, parent and caregiver support may include casual gatherings, educational sessions, resource sharing, and community-building opportunities.

The Kinship Center is located in Roseville and serves autistic and neurodivergent youth, teens, young adults, and families across Placer County and the greater Sacramento region.
Families come to The Kinship Center because they are looking for more than a traditional therapy setting. They are looking for friendship, confidence, creativity, belonging, and real opportunities for connection.
Many families are told their child doesn’t meet the criteria for services—even though they’re struggling in everyday social life.
They may have difficulty making friends, feel left out in group settings, or lack confidence when trying to connect with others.
On paper, they seem to be doing “fine.”
But in reality, they’re often navigating challenges that go unsupported. At The Kinship Center, we focus on this exact gap.
Our programs are designed for neurodivergent youth who don’t qualify for traditional services, but still need meaningful opportunities to build friendships, confidence, and a sense of belonging.
Based in Roseville, California, we serve families throughout the Sacramento region, by offering a structured, supportive environment where connection happens naturally—through shared experiences, guided interaction, and community.
